01Estimate
Tell us what heats your home now and whether there's a gas meter, and you'll see your grant immediately: £7,500 for most homes, £9,000 for off-grid homes replacing oil or LPG.
Add your home type and bedrooms and Mark follows up with a written estimate.
02Survey
We use LiDAR scanning to build a floor plan of the whole house. That plan goes into the MCS Design Platform, which calculates the heat loss of every room.
The heat pump, the cylinder and any radiator changes are all chosen from those figures.

03Proposal
You get a proposal built on your survey. We work with Ample, our MCS umbrella partner, who handle the Boiler Upgrade Scheme application, the application to your electricity network operator, and finance options, so the customer journey stays straightforward.

04Installation
An outdoor heat pump unit, a hot water cylinder and the controls, plus any radiators the heat loss calculation says need upsizing. Underfloor heating can be part of it too.
05Commissioning and aftercare
The system is commissioned and set up for your home, and you're shown how the controls work. After that, we service heat pumps from £150 a year, with maintenance plans from £12.99 a month.

It should, when it's sized properly. That's what the survey is for: every room's heat loss is calculated for cold conditions where you live, and the heat pump is chosen to match.
Not usually all of them. A heat pump runs cooler water than a boiler, so some rooms may need a larger radiator. The heat loss calculation shows exactly which ones.
Somewhere outside with good airflow, usually against a wall or on a base close to the house. The survey looks at the options for your home and the noise check that comes with them.
Most homes with a heat pump do, because a heat pump heats and stores water rather than heating it instantly like a combi boiler. The survey sizes it to your household.
